Do you want to find real, local, small production, high quality wine from Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino counties? Our owner Bryan Cooper has decades of winery and winemaker connections. Our wines are generally not available outside the Wine Country.

We work on keeping prices reasonable, and send wines that overdeliver to our members.

Let us send you some great wines that are almost impossible to find anywhere else!

Jolene's Retreat

to Jolene's

As we come to the close of 2025, we want to take a moment to say thank you—from the bottom of our hearts—to every single supporter and donor who makes Jolene’s Retreat possible. Whether you donated as an individual, purchased our merchandise, or have donated prizes to our Give Back Tuesday fundraisers we appreciate you!

Jolene’s Retreat runs entirely on donations, and truly, every dollar counts. Our basic monthly expenses alone average around $1,000 per month, and that doesn’t include the many unexpected or seasonal needs that inevitably come up throughout the year.

We would also like to give a special and heartfelt shout-out to our monthly sponsors. Your consistent, reliable support is incredibly helpful when planning our monthly budgets and ensuring that our residents receive the care they deserve. Knowing we can count on that steady generosity makes a world of difference.

Because of your support this year, we were able to cover essential and additional expenses such as:

  • Installing more fencing to create larger, safer enclosures

  • Clearing a massive pile of rocks from one of our pastures

  • Purchasing water during the summer months when our well ran low; animals need LOTS of water!

  • Investing in much-needed tools and supplies, including blowers with battery packs, brooms, rakes, rolling bins for poop pick-up, pooper scoopers, and more

  • Providing higher-quality bedding for added comfort

  • Buying enrichment toys for the animals

  • Making countless (and we truly mean countless!) trips to the hardware store for miscellaneous items throughout the year

  • Veterinary bills - East Petaluma Animal Hospital, Cotati Large Animal Hospital,  UC Davis (maintenance visits & unexpected)

  • And most recently, purchasing a 24' x 12' covered structure in the cow pasture for protection from heat and rain.

None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity directly supports the animals, the land, and the mission of Jolene’s Retreat, and we are endlessly grateful for the trust you place in us.

Thank you for being part of our community and for standing with us since we began in 2023. We look forward to continuing this journey together in the years ahead.

With gratitude,

Kathy & the Jolene’s Retreat Team
