October Club Note - We are Making Pinot in 2014!
With a Slight Touch of Rain to End Summer !
Hi All - we’re in peak picking season, and this year, the wine club is making its own Pinot Noir. Winemaker David Noyes has made wine for 40 years, and has made his own Pinot from the Crane Vineyard many times. This year, the club has contracted with him to produce Harvest View 2014 Pinot Noir - Crane Vineyard. The grapes are now picked and safely homed in Healdsburg. We very excited to work with such a great guy as David - look forward to special offers to buy this wine on future.
There is a touch of heat this weekend pushing remaining vineyards to quickly pick the fruit. It could be a super year - we are waiting to taste samples and talk with the winemakers AFTER they have all the wine barrelled (beginning of November)
See the weigh scale report - how many bottles of pinot should we expect from this?
