Thanksgiving in Sebastopol 2013
Over 110 members and community folks joined this year in Sebastopol
Hello - once more another year slides by, and we pause to be thankful for everything good in our life. We are very happy to continue to run our little wine club in Sonoma County, with great, fun members.
This year, we again open the doors in Sebastopol (2295 Gravenstein Hwy South - Hwy 116 near the Flea Market). Thursday Nov 28 starting at 11:00 am to our members, friends and everyone else to the club's Annual Thanksgiving Potluck & Feast. We run until everyone is full and satiated - usually past 9:00 pm.
This feast is for everyone who either has no other place to go, or prefers NOT to go there! :-)
We usually have around 75 people throughout the day and hope that many or more come this year. No RSVP required! Community seating - Come last minute if you want!
We'll provide smoked turkey, ham and vegetarian roast. We'll have some of Rick's homemade sourdough bread and mashed potatoes. Maybe a few other treats? Members and friends, please bring a dish! Any random dish - salad, side dish, dessert. And, thank you to members for donating the turkey in our '$5 - this is NOT a restaurant' fine jar!
So, there is NO CHARGE of course! Wine will be sold by the glass - some special bottles will be opened from Bryan's personal cellar. And its another casual community dinner - no reservations either! Community seating. Chicken in the yard. Kids running around.
We hope to start serving around 11:00ish and run ALL DAY into the night.
Meekk says 'Last year, we stayed very late and met some very nice people. If you have questions, please call me at 707-827-1832'
We will have the ovens running and can warm things up if you come late.
Come by BEFORE or AFTER your other Thanksgiving events. Bring all the kids, grandparents, in-laws, out-laws, inside/outside-laws!
If you can't make it, please hoist a toast to your friends and family for us!
