Sonoma Wine Shop is the center for a wine club with around 1,000 active members. We ship out wines every day all over the world to our members.

Why have we done so well? By finding great wines NOT available except to real wine seekers- 100 - 500 case small production wines. We have 4 clubs - our Will Call club of 200 local wine seekers who live near the wine shop, a quarterly Tasting Room club of 2 bottles for $50 plus shipping, the largest custom wine club anywhere - where we pick each wine for each member, based on budget and frequency, and finally our Case Club where members receive custom picked wines with discounted prices and discounted shipping. We are a full service wine shop RIGHT in the heart of the wine country. We are in Sonoma and meet and greet hundreds of club members (and prospective club members) each month. We know what it means to offer service and quality. Around town, our little shop is well known as a very busy place for wine lovers.

We are dedicated to helping our club members find great wines at great prices. We have contacts with hundreds of wineries and have extensive knowledge about the vineyards where great wines are truly made. Drop by our shop to get first hand glimpse of the HUB of the wine trade.

We love meeting and greeting so many great wine lovers and travelers. Our web site is a small part of our business as we stay busy running the wine shop 7 days a week. We believe in the wines we sell. We use our tasting room to help show the wines to our members and get critical feedback on the wines. By having wines to show to hundreds of people every month, and listening to our members, we get better wines.

	Location, Location, Location
	Sonoma Wine Shop has served the adventurous wine lover for almost 30 years. Located in the California historic landmark 1891 Pinelli Building, we overlook the Bear Flag Monument on the Sonoma Plaza. We enjoy these charming surroundings and ke ep our showroom open 7 days a week for our many visitors. Handcarved wine racks and natural cork floors make our shop cozy and fun.
It is said we are all known by the company we keep. SWS is known for the superior wine list and extensive wine library. Our contacts in the Wine Country just keep us supplied with the very best selection and at excellent values. We have a deep and growing library of wines in our own library. With over 900 cases of wine representing some 400 wines from 200 wineries, our library is the largest retail selection in the Wine Country. We will be adding this library for direct purchase on-line during May. Some very hard to find wines will be allocated to members - most will be first come, first served.
	We have some of the nicest wine racks in the Wine Country. Each rack has a hand-carved scene of Sonoma County. We have taken detailed pictures of these wonderful carvings. Check out the story behind the Wine Racks and carving in our Showroom.
	Tasting Room
	Our tasting bar is the world's smallest, and was initially used on an old sailing ship. We host dozens of informal tastings each week. We listen to our customers feedback on these wines to ensure the best quality and value. Private wine tastings are also available. Research is clearly a priority for the tasting bar.
