 Sonoma Valley This carving represents the days before the Europeans. Looking down valley, the moon and grizzly bear with cubs remind us that Sonoma means 'Valley of the Moon'. The acorns show their main food and were requested by local Indians when these carvings were design. |

 Goat Rock State Beach A beautiful Sonoma beach at the mouth of the Russian River. Arches Rock in the distance is a natural wonder. Note the abalone on the sand, and the salmon swimming in California's kelp. The flying albatross and star fish complete the setting. |
