Goat Rock Left Detail Salmon still swim the Russian River and many of our creeks. The famous Grizzley would have caught many fish during the yearly runs up river to spawning grounds. These ocean salmon hide almongst the edible kelp or seaweed. |
Goat Rock with Arches Rock A special place at the mouth of the Russian River. The famous abolone is still found along the coast in certain beds. No tanks can be used to harvest it, and the size must match minimums. talk with Mitchell if you are interested in free diving. It takes a long trip to get the to right spot. |
