was grown on top of Calistoga road, in the forest bordering Napa and Sonoma County.  This Mountain Ranch Road vineyard is tucked away in the hills, obscured by the trees, yet produces excellent conditions for hilltop Cabernet Sauvignon.  The earthy soils provides the fruit with the clear scent of cedar, producing a deeply aromatic wine that emphasizes complexity, not just fruit.
